Review/Giveaway: Passion Spice Lingerie

It’s a topic that is talked about in confidence to friends but rarely do you see outward confessions of zero libido or newly formed low self esteem. So let’s put some things out there.
I find it is a common myth that the libido of a pregnant woman goes up. For me and for just about every woman I know, sex drive is proportionate to your growing belly. It is hard to feel sexy when your back hurts, your stomach is huge, and you are sweaty, farting, dealing with acid reflux and unable to sleep at night. Most partners are gracious and supportive during this time, rubbing your swollen feet while you just relax. Then comes childbirth! After a vaginal delivery you are told to wait somewhere around 6 weeks until you can do the deed. For most women I know that 6 weeks is a great vacation. You don’t have to feel guilty for not wanting to have sex and your partner can’t even ask you. What happens after the 6 weeks though?
For me, not much changed. I found that the sex drive I once had is but a distant memory. These days I literally have to work to get in the mood and that kind of sucks. I think it’s normal though. With new motherhood comes new challenges like the stress of taking care of an infant and the new workout you are getting chasing a baby, money matters and work outside the home. Who has time to even think about sex? I know that at the end of the day the first thing I think about is sleep.
We all need to remember that we are sexual women. We are sexy and confident and loved by amazing partners. That is something I have been working on in my life recently. So for me, I thought about what makes me feel sexy because isn’t feeling sexy a huge step to being sexual? I feel sexy when I have on sexy lingerie, an idea my husband has yet to grasp. When I put on my nice underwear, I do it because I know there is something sexy under my clothes, which gives me a little extra boost. This does pose a problem when you are a nursing mama. Having easy access to your breasts is something that you think about every time you get dressed. I live in nursing tank tops, wearing them literally 98% of the time. They are just so simple. I have one lone nursing bra that is plain white and not at all flattering, which I will wear out once in awhile. Sexy it is not.
I thought there was no such thing as a sexy nursing bra so I was literally ecstatic to find Passion Spice. Made from a soft microfiber it’s super comfortable to wear. I love the bra so much and the matching bottoms are the best. The orchid color is adorable and the fit is perfect. It really does make me feel like I am wearing a “regular” bra again. Both the bra and panties are flattering and sexy. My husband was maybe even more excited about this product then I was.
The Passion Spice bra has everything your regular bra had 3 closure back and adjustable straps but also has the little hooks that allow the bra front to come down for nursing. It’s totally easy for me to now wear a regular shirt or a dress with the Passion Spice bra underneath The Carla Bra has an underwire for support, which is what I prefer but Passion Spice offers nursing bras without wires as well. The next purchase I make from them is going to be the Macy Underwire Bra which has a middle snap that allows for nursing, which I have never seen before. In addition to the nursing selections Passion Spice also offers maternity lingerie which would have been great when I was pregnant. Lacey bras and panties that fit you’re ever growing body, yes please. Next time I am pregnant I know where to go for sexy items.

As cute as the bras are I would have to spend my money on the bikini underwear since a 36DD will not cut it for me while nursing.

I really like the elle underwire nursing bra in both the black and aqua, as well as the jade bikini to match. The Jola babydoll is really cute too though...especially since I'm expecting our 3rd, and we're getting finally getting married in July.
