Review/Giveaway: Lollidoo Diapers

I was so excited when I got my Lollidoo diaper in the mail because I have been on the hunt for the perfect overnight diaper.  Right away I could tell Lollidoo was different  from the rest of the diapers I have tried.

The Lollidoo Eco Pocket looks like a fitted diaper but is really a pocket, no cover needed.   The outer fleece shell is made from recycled water bottles, BPA free. The inside is a StayDry layer. All the work that goes into making Lollidoo diapers is done domestically. Don't you just feel better knowing your products are not being made by workers who are not even given a living wage? Not to mention, recycled fleece! Lollidoo also has a diaper recycling program, you can send them your old diapers and they will have them recycled for you when you can no longer use them. So awesome.

The Eco Pocket comes with two inserts made from a terry cotton. I love the way this diaper looks on Coraline, like a puffy cotton ball bum! The lining really does wick away moisture allowing us to wear this diaper for a good amount of time. It's very absorbent. We use this diaper as the ultimate night time diaper.

The most unique part of this diaper is the adjustable leg elastic. I am going to be honest when I say our first test of this diaper ended up with a leak through the legs because I did not fully understand how to adjust the inside elastic. I got some help from a friend, thanks Jess, and I was able to customize the fit just for Cora. It really is a great system once I figured it out. I have never had a leak since.

In our quest to become an eco friendly household, I have found so many great products. When we use our Lollidoo diaper I not only feel good because we have a wonderful cloth diaper that works great but because it reminds me that the extra minutes it takes me to recycle is so worth it. Useful and luxurious  products can be made from our trash if we all just do some small part.
